Dates:
- Midterm 1: Thursday, July 18th, during quiz section.
- Midterm 2: Thursday, August 8th, during quiz section.
- Final: Friday, August 23rd, during lecture.
Sections Covered:
- Midterm 1: Sections 12.1-12.6, 10.1-10.3, and 13.1-13.3, except for the unit normal (N)
and binormal (B) vectors in 13.3.
- Midterm 2: The rest of 13.3, 13.4, 14.1, 14.3, 14.4, 14.7, 15.1, 15.2, and 15.3.
- Final: Strong emphasis on 15.4, 15.5, and the Taylor notes. Comprehensive in the sense that
questions tying together many topics from throughout the quarter will be asked.
Solutions:
Basic Policy:
- You should bring a non-graphing, non-programmable calculator. You may not share calculators during the exam.
- You may use a single hand-written 8.5" by 11" page of notes; you may write on both sides.
Edge Cases:
- Make-up exams will not be given.
- If you have a compelling reason for missing a midterm (documented religious observance, documented illness or
personal emergency, etc.), talk to me as soon as possible, and your final will be weighted more heavily.
