Most homework is assigned, submitted, and graded via WebAssign, the exception being three proof-based homeworks. You must purchase an access code for WebAssign in order to use it. If you bought a book from the UW Bookstore or bought the eBook, both should have come with an access code. If you don't want the physical textbook, the cheapest option is to purchase the eBook/access code combination.
If you've never used WebAssign before, a guide is available here.
There will be three proof-based assignments, one before each exam. Each should be submitted to me in class on the suggested due date. You may also put it in my mailbox in the math department mail room located in the C-wing of Padelford, though if you do please let me know when you put it in via email. Solutions will be posted here. The point of the proof homeworks is to give you a chance to write proofs and receive feedback before it really matters during the exams. As such they will be graded very leniently.
